Petr Dvořák
Senior Vice President, Broadcasting, CME

Petr Dvořák, 45, has served as Senior Vice President (SVP), Broadcasting of CME since December 2009 and as Chief Executive Officer of CET 21, the operating company of CME's channels in the Czech Republic, since 2003. As SVP, he is responsible for managing the newly established Broadcast division, which comprehends all aspects of TV business, including programming, news, sales, channel development, technology, and acquisitions across all of CME's markets.
He also serves as a board member of TV Nova, Markíza-Slovakia, Nova TV d.d., TV2 EOOD, Media Pro International SA, Pro TV SA, CME's operating companies in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania, respectively. Between the years 2003 to 2009, Mr. Dvořák was as CEO of CET 21 responsible for all its activities in the Czech Republic, including broadcast operations, production, and Internet operations. Mr. Dvořák joined CET 21 in 2002 after its acquisition by the largest Czech investment company PPF, prior to which he was an executive board member of PPF, responsible for media and banking acquisitions.
Mr. Dvořák graduated in 1989 from the Czech Technical University in Prague and in 1999 he was awarded an MBA from the University of Chicago.
