Nova Sport holds a stable position in the Czech and Slovak TV markets through broadcasting high-quality sporting events and sport-related programming in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
Nova Sport owns valuable rights to broadcasting licenses for major sport leagues and events including the National Hockey League (NHL), the FA Premier League Football (English Football), the FA CUP, the French Football League, Barca TV, the National Basketball Association (NBA), ATP Tennis tournaments, Moto GP, Kontinental Hockey League and Formula One, Nova Sport also produces various weekly sports shows and magazines, as well as locally produced daily sports news programs in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
Nova Sport appeals mainly to the male demographic aged 20-49 with sporting programs and events.
The combined Czech and Slovak Republic markets represent approximately 6 million households, out of which cable connection is being used by approximately 3 million households. Currently, Nova Sport has carriage agreements with all of the largest cable distributors in the Czech and Slovak Republic, reaching almost 1.7 million subscribers.
