Nova Cinema
Nova Cinema was launched on the 1st of December of 2007 on cable & satellite platforms, with a start-up penetration of 9 %. The schedule comprises films and series addressing 15-54 target group. The channel currently reaches 91 % of the Czech population through DVB-T distribution (free tv) and achieved an average all day audience share of 5.02 % and average prime time share of 5.66 % in January 2011.
The station's broadcast schedule consists of a mix of international and Czech films as well as popular series, some of which are premieres in Czech Republic, such as the latest seasons of Fringe, Breaking Bad or Nip/Tuck. Nova Cinema has a strong slate of movie premieres for the Spring season including A Mighty Heart, The Kite Runner, Angel-A, Black Book and Stay.
