KINO was acquired by CME in 2006 and currently has technical coverage of 53%.
KINO offers viewers a new style of programming consisting purely of entertainment programming. Daytime scheduling targets the teenage audience and includes a mixture of action animation, teenage sitcoms and youth series. Drama series and Cinema related entertainment programs are shown between 7-9pm followed by action based films from 9–11pm and drama series 11–12am.
KINO also broadcasts a number of locally produced entertainment programs in addition to the popular overseas programs.
KINO is developing its program content and transmission throughout Ukraine. Integration with Studio 1+1 resources, which is a core element of CME's multichannel strategy in Ukraine, provides support for this development.
