Dražen Mavrić

Dražen Mavrić was born in Zagreb in 1969. He received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University in Zagreb. After graduating he gained a Diploma in Management at The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as a Diploma in International Business at Bristol University in England. Mavrić also received an Executive MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, France. Mavrić is a certified accountant from the ACCA-Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England and Wales. He became General Director of NOVA TV in November 2005 after 12 months of serving as Director of Finance.
Dražen joined Nova TV after spending 2 years as a Member of Crisis Management Team in major meat company where he was in charge of finance, IT and Legal Affairs working on financial consolidation and company restructuring.
From 1997 to 2001, Mavrić was the Assistant Manager in KPMG Croatia working as a consultant and financial advisor on major acquisitions, privatization projects and corporate portfolio analysis for major clients in banking, telecommunications and brewery.
