Acasa TV
In February 1998, Central European Media and its partners launched Acasa TV, broadcasting 24 hours a day and targeting female audiences with telenovelas, films, as well as news and entertainment. Launched as a niche channel for women, Acasa TV broke records with the huge success of its local productions including Romanian telenovelas and Prime Time long running series.
The station had an all day audience share of 5.9% in 2009 in the 18-49 target group. The channel reaches 90% of the nation's 20.6million people.
Approximately 24% of Acasa's programming is locally produced, including "Regina" ("The Queen"), "Ingerasii" ("Little Angels"), "Doctori de mame" ("Doctors of mothers") "Povestiri Adevarate" ("True Stories") and "Povestiri de Noapte" ("Late Night Stories"). "Regina" is the sequel to the great success "Gipsy Heart", and was Acasa TV's most rated program in 2009.
www.acasatv.ro offers to its users the chance to get to know their favorite telenovela stars through chats and video-chats. The website also provides exclusive behind-the-scene stories, all kind of polls and contests.
The General Director of Acasa is Constantin Mocanu.
