  • June 11, 2010 - Média, reklama The new president of ATO is head of TV Nova Petr Dvořák The new president of Association of Television Organisations (ATO) is head of TV Nova Petr Dvořák, who replaced on this position head of CT Jiri Janecek. This decision was reached at the general meeting of ATO, which took place on Thursday. It was also agreed to also include self-regulation in television broadcasts. This should allow better co-operation with the Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting in dealing with regulation of television broadcasts based on the amendment of the broadcasting bill. Regular members of ATO are Česká televize, CET 21, FTV Prima the Czech Association of Communications Agencies (AKA).

  • March 25, 2010 - Nova TV wins the Miko Tripalo award for its news and current affairs program Nova TV received the Miko Tripalo award for their contribution to the development of democracy, human rights and media freedoms in 2009. These acknowledgements are awarded by the Miko Tripalo Center for Democracy and Justice, which was founded in 2003 in order to promote European democratic ideas, values and criteria in Croatia. The award ceremony was held today in the foyer of the University of Zagreb, and the awards were presented by Stjepan Mesić, the honorary president of the Association of the Miko Tripalo Center for Democracy and Justice.
