POP TV wins TRUSTED BRAND award

According to Slovenians, POP TV is a trademark, which is the most trusted among all TV stations. Confidence in the top Slovenian TV channel POP TV was expressed by as many as 59.7 percent of all interviewees.
When accepting the prestigious award, Branko Čakarmi‘, Programming Director of PRO PLUS, expressed gladness in trust from viewers, which POP TV has been cultivating for 14 years. He also added: “This acknowledgement from viewers means a lot to us and we are proud, since this confirms that we are preparing exceptional programming, and we will continue efforts in the future to offer interesting and quality choice.”
Reader's Digest has been carrying out trademark research in Europe for nine years, while in Slovenia it was performed for the third time.The questionnaire has remained the same as it allows comparisons regarding the trust of consumers towards certain trademarks. The research involves intercultural comparisons with 20 product groups which are mutual in all participating countries, while the remaining products are chosen on a local basis.
Trusted Brand is one of the largest European studies involving the relation of consumers towards products and services for general consumption, which has been performed in 15 countries. In Slovenia the research was performed by the media institute Mediana, using a base sample of 951 consumers.
The key purpose of the research is to discover which brands Europeans trust the most, and what their opinion is for various product groups. In the assessment of products and services there are two important criteria – quality and personal experience of consumers.
