The summer hit has been Rozvedení so záväzkami.

In the last week Markíza has achieved an all-day share of 33.2% in the 12+ age group which represents a year-on-year growth of +4.6% (STV1 17.9%, TV JOJ 15.7%). There has been a similar increase for prime time Markíza whose figure of 33.3% for the same target group is up by +3.9% compared to last year (STV1 21.8%, TV JOJ 17.4%). Markíza has achieved an excellent result in the 12-49 age group where its share was far higher than the competition’s - 35% (STV 1 16%, TV JOJ 16.1%).

Markíza is systematically strengthening its off prime broadcasting which has reached 36.4%. During the summer there has been a significant strengthening particularly in Markíza’s morning programming between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Its share over two days last week even exceeded 40% - on Wednesday 40.4% and on Friday a record 42.9%.

The most-watched light entertainment programme this summer on the Slovak television market is Rozvedení so záväzkami which up until now has had an average rating of 13.2% and a 37.1% share. Hurricane is having its usual good ratings and on Monday it achieved a rating of 13.4% and a 36.7% share.

During last week the most-watched prime time serial was the pilot to the 8th series of Kobra 11 (12.3/37.5%). In the mornings excellent shares were achieved by Frasier (34.9%) and The Bill Cosby Show (35.5%).

The Television News’ share over the summer has not dropped below 73%. In the 32nd week the news programme had an average rating of 20.6% and a 73.2% share.
