The Gates of Markíza Opened for the Tenth Time

BRATISLAVA – Last Saturday viewers of the most popular television, fans of presenters and editors, and lovers of good music experienced an unrepeatable atmosphere during the Doors Open Day at Markíza. The atmosphere was really festive this time, since Markíza celebrates its tenth birthday this year.
Although the doors to studios, director’s rooms and other premises opened at ten in the morning two hours earlier the TV area was already occupied by several hundreds enthusiasts. During the day the gates of Markíza were passed through by incredible over 35 thousand people. Besides the TV premises they could enjoy performances of a number of Slovak performers in hot weather under the open sky.
No Name, Vidiek, PS, Dara Rolins, or Braňo Mojsej are just a few of those who appeared in front of cheering and jumping crowd of fans.
Autographs hunters were also able to get autographs of their favourites. However, the greatest interest was in bungee jumping and trampolines.
„We are very pleased with unflagging interest of our fans, who arrive every year from all corners of Slovakia to celebrate with us the anniversary of their favourite television“, concluded Ivana Semjanová, spokeswoman of Markíza TV.
