iPlus plans to make a profit in 2-3years

Representatives of iPlus (www.iplus.com.ua), an informational and entertainment Internet portal owned by Studio 1+1, have announced their intention to position the Company as a leader in its sector by the end of the year and expects to be profitable within 2-3 years. iPlus will utilize numerous forms of multimedia, including photos, video, and articles, as it looks to build a broad audience. Andrij Shekhovcov, a new business manager of Studio 1+1, estimates the number of Internet users will double, making up 25-30 percent of Ukrainians, within the next 2-3 years.

Beginning in the fall, iPlus will broadcast programs produced by Studio 1+1 on its Internet TV portal, which is comprised of three sections: "Live", "News" and "Programs". The Live section includes programs to be broadcast in the Ukraine and abroad, and consists of "Snidanok z 1+1," "Smachna krayina," "TSN," "Sport" and "Ya tak dumayu." Both the News and Program sections will contain the most pertinent and interesting topics of the "TSN" programming, in addition to broadcasting full versions of programs featured on Studio 1+1.
