Audience Share Records of TV NOVA in the Second Week of September

TV NOVA has again proven its market-leading position, breaking several audience share records. The singing competition Česko hledá SuperStar (Pop Idol) and the series Ordinace v růžové zahradě (Rose Garden Medical), Pojišťovna štěstí (Insurance Hapiness), Ulice (Street) as well as the international hit Lost, Las Vegas and Miami have shown that the size of the audience these programmes attract is growing. Together with TV News at 7.30 PM and prime-time sports news, the said programmes continue increasing the lead ahead of the competing TV stations.
In the second week of September TV NOVA audience share was 48.72% in the prime time in the target group 15+.
The week-average viewing figure was significantly boosted by the very successful Sunday of September 24. The prime-time audience share in the target group 15 - 54 and 15 - 24 was 60.46% and 70.57%, respectively. The said figures are a new record since mid-2005 when the previous run of the successful Pop Idol show was on.
There are some other firsts worth mentioning. The said all-week prime-time audience share in the target group 15 - 54 is a record figure not only for 2006, but also since August 2002.
