Caryn Seidman Becker

Caryn Seidman Becker has served as a Director since June 2009. In 2009, Caryn founded Algood Holdings, a holding company established to acquire operating companies in secular growth areas. From 2002 to 2009 she was Chief Executive Officer of Arience Capital Management, a billion dollar plus asset management firm which she founded in August 2002. Arience combined the business of art and science, reflecting her belief that investing is a highly qualitative and highly quantitative process. Prior to founding Arience, Ms. Seidman Becker was a partner at Glenview Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar long/short investment fund manager. At Glenview, she was responsible for coverage of a broad spectrum of industries including cable, media, and entertainment, wireless, leisure defense and aerospace, consumer products, and computer services, Before Glenview, she served as a Managing Director and Senior Analyst at Iridian Asset Management. From 1994 until she joined Iridian, Caryn was an analyst at Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder, initially in risk arbitrage and later for its private investment fund.
